15 Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 02-26-2024

THREE THINGS:

1.) DO I DARE?? Kim reminded me of her “ugly cry” book (“One Day“) because it’s now a series on Netflix. She sent me this warning for Netflix and said:

Kim: Remember when I told you about this book!!??

Maryse: Ooooooh wait. Refresh my memory. …I’ll have to do it on a Friday night ’cause an ugly cry last me two days of puffy eyes, and can’t have those at work. 😂

Kim: I think you had a post about ugly crying while reading. This book and Brightside were the only 2 books I can recall bawling. I read One Day on a plane and the flight attendants brought me tissues and had me write the name of the book for them and all the women sitting near me. 😂

Maryse: OH YESSSSSS I DO remember that!!! Can’t forget it because who wants to cry on an airplane – yikes!! But what an amazing memory. Thank you for pointing it out.

2.) I’m thinking about moving my “corn” plant (and no not my “bird-poop corn stalk” from years ago – LOL *sigh* I still miss that one!!!) but my Dracaena fragrans. It’s the only plant I have that is doing terribly. They can’t be watered on a usual schedule (prefer drying out completely, I’ve read), but they can’t be under-watered – so drying out is touchy, they supposedly need distilled water, I dunno. All sorts of things. The leaves are turning brown and crispy – the edges anyway. All my plants outside are thriving, so outside it will go, too. 🤷‍♀️

3.) I’m waiting for a case of Zevia to be delivered tomorrow, so I can try it for the first time. So many LOVE the “soda” flavored ones, especially the ginger ale (which is my favorite soft drink of all soft drinks) so I can’t wait to try it. I got the multi flavored pack so I can taste-test and find my favorites. Yep, I’m always on a drink-quest, but I love to have all sorts of options that are sugar free (but not “diet” sodas ’cause I’m not big on the flavor of aspartame and Sucralose). Does anyone here like/love Zevia?
