Reader Question – The book where she was a waitress and she fell and now keeps losing time (years or more…)

Linda needs our book help! Whoa I LOVE these kinds of books. BIG spoiler at the end of this one, but I posted spoiler alert notices before it, so read it carefully.

She asks:

I read a book about a waitress that fell at work and starts losing time. Her brother and best friend are living together next thing she remembers she is a reporter. The time she looses are 1 or more years.

A man comes to the restaurant on several different occasions, where she used to work, but leaves before she can speak to him.

Toward the end of the book she is following this man and falls in the pond. While she is trying to get out of the water she realizes she has to survive as she is pregnant.

We then find out she had been in a car wreck and was in a coma.
