Reader Question – The secret baby book when the father sees his child for the first time, and he come out on crutches…

Cindy needs our book help! Oh boy… secret baby books have so much potential for angry moments. I read one, years ago (a rock star book) and I was so angry with how much time the father lost, in his child’s life, especially over a misunderstanding.

She asks:

Trying to find a book I read a few years ago….

I don’t know what leads up to the dad not knowing he has a child, but he learns about his child after several years.

The first time he goes to meet his child (I believe it’s a boy), the dad watches him come out of the house on crutches because the child has cerebral palsy (or some other disease like that).

He asks the mom, “Is he ok?” (or something along those lines.)
