Reader Favorites – Lindsey’s Best Books of 2023 List
Lindsay’s Best of 2023 list is ready!! She’s been with us since 2017, commenting here and there (and helping us solve reader questions!!) but this is her first “Best of” list with us and I’m so happy to see it (and so thankful she sent it).
In fact, there are quite a few “new to me” books on here that gave me blurb jolts. YAY ME!! YAY US!!!
Lindsay: …trying to pick books that were published in 2023, but sadly, many of mine were published earlier, I just didn’t read them until last year.
I struggled a bit in the Romance genre last year as I seem to be in a slump with similar stories and plots/banter that are too unrealistic, so I think I re-read more of my all-time favorites rather than new ones.
However, I think I hit the jackpot in Historical Fiction!
Here’s my best of list….
ROMANCE:
Fourth Wing (The Empyrean #1) by Rebecca Yarros
SO MANY WENT CRAZY FOR THIS BOOK IN 2023!! And Megan included it on her BEST OF 2023 LIST!
Megan: Honorable mention – Fourth wing
Natasha: Best book of 2023 so far
Jamie: Fourth Wing pulled me out of a long book slump! It was AMAZING!
Alice: the ratings on that book are crazy, almost unheard of they are so high.

Priti: Check out The Right Move (windy city #2) by Liz Tomforde. …Tomforde is definitely an author to look out for! The first book (Mile high) is a good read too but this one is ‘perfection’.
Tasha J: I finished The Right Move by Liz Tomforde…Great chemistry, loved both the hero and heroine. I read it as a stand-alone, didn’t read the first in the series, which is based on another couple, and wasn’t lost or anything.
